Baseline: ROM Drills. 10 Rounds: 5 x Pull ups, 10 x push ups, 15 x air Squats
Work Capacity: With a 25lb weight vest or body armor, AFAP do 15, 14, 13, 12…1 reps of the following…
- Front Squat @ 95lbs / 65
- Burpees
- Box Jumps
- Deadlift @135lbs /95
- Sit ups
Durability: Run 2 Miles at moderate pace. Active stretch or Yoga

I don’t follow Sealfit anymore, simply because it doesn’t match my needs, but I had a question for operators or anyone with cold weather experience. I have a home gym that’s open to the elements save for a little bit of overhead cover. I worked out all summer in 100 plus degree heat in the afternoon sun on blacktop, and I know that exercise in high temperature increases endurance to a greater degree than in moderate temperatures, and that said endurance carries over to cooler temperatures as well. My question is now that it’s colder and I’m still working out in shorts and Vibrams because I’m too cheap to buy clothes or do extra laundry, what kind of effects will I see over time? Temperatures here currently average 40-55 when I workout, and probably won’t get below 20 in the afternoons all winter (this excludes windchill.) Have there been any military studies on the effects of controlled exposure to cold weather? Any advice you have to offer would be appreciated – but please, I don’t want to hear anything about cold weather injuries. I read that book and it’s just not going to happen given time of exposure and heightened body temperature. Thank you all in advance.
Did this in 35, can’t remember the seconds – too emotional at the time! Did it without the vest though.
