For those who are training to be Special Operators or who have already reached that summit, what physical training do you do in addition to these Candidate WODs? Thanks.
SEAL FIT Operator Wods. But don’t get too side tracked with those. Routinely do your swimming, running, push ups situps and pull ups to make sure you don’t fall off the initial goal of the PST.
10 rounds
1st mile 6:57
2nd mile 6:49
7 rounds + 40m bear crawl
1st mile: 6:25.
2nd mile: 6:18
Also, B to respond to your question as well, I do the full Operator WOD on Mondays and Wednesdays. I’ll hit one of these candidate WODs on Tuesday and Friday, and do 2 of them, 1 usually being a swim WOD, on Saturdays. The only other additional stuff I will do is a LSD swim or run on Thursdays, and an additional swim workout one night, usually either Monday or Tuesday. On occasion I’ll also fit in some running interval work if the WODs for the week haven’t had much running in them.
Luke and Xan: Many thanks for your advice. It’s greatly appreciated.
